Case Study — Global Prop Roll-Out

Visual Strategy, Design System & Global Implementation

I led the development of a flexible global prop system designed to scale across locations while maintaining consistency in materiality, proportion, and brand expression. Recognizable forms and legacy props were upcycled through a process of culling, sanding, refinishing, and redistribution. It elevated presentation, simplified maintenance, and extended the lifecycle of the assets.

Building on this foundation, I introduced a hero prop family for jewelry displays crafted from legacy materials such as marble and ebony, both uncommon and unforgiving choices for VM, yet reflective of the brand’s visual and interior architecture. The system was later adapted for the Mikimoto collaboration across windows and in-store displays, establishing a cohesive visual merchandising language tailored to the brand.
